We spoke with our colleague Issu Tsegay, Analytical Technician at Dow Barry (UK), who has been with Dow for nearly 9 years and he can’t think of a better employer.   

Dow was one of the employers where I could bring my whole self. It was 2009 and I just moved to the UK from a small east African country. I soon found a job in a lab in North Wales but after 3 and a half years, I had to relocate to Cardiff for personal reasons. It became quite challenging getting a job with a name not familiar to most local employers. 

I spent several months applying for different lab positions without any success despite my relevant experience.
