We’ve recently announced a new collaboration with Crocs to help halve the carbon footprint of their iconic footwear by 2030. Using Dow’s pioneering ECOLIBRIUM™ technology, we’re supporting Crocs’ overall commitment to become a net zero brand by providing bio-based materials for production.
Our bio-based solutions are also helping hotmelt adhesives customer Henkel to achieve another milestone in their sustainability goals. AFFINITY™ REN offers an alternative to fossil fuel-based products and can help to reduce the carbon footprint whilst delivering the same well-known performance as AFFINITY™ family. Using bio-based feedstock, this whole process is certified on a mass balance basis by the International Sustainability & Carbon Certification (ISCC).
Meanwhile our Dow MobilityScience™ team is helping vehicle manufacturers and their suppliers lower their environmental footprint. In our first Mobex webinar, they outlined numerous measures, such as enabling lower energy use in factories, simplifying product application and incorporating recycled materials. In our second Mobex webinar, they discussed how material science can help achieve low-carbon mobility through lightweighting, e-mobility, low VOC and low odor materials.
