Annemieke De Wilde

Dr. Annemieke De Wilde is an occupational medicine physician with 25+ years of experience defining and ensuring the implementation of employee health strategies within multinational corporations spanning industry sectors such as petrochemical, telecommunications, medical supplies and agricultural industries.

As you will hear from her accent, she was not raised in the US, but in Flanders, Belgium. After finishing medical school at the Catholic University of Leuven, she immigrated toNJ to get married and completed her residency training in Internal and Occupational Medicine and a Master’s Degree in Public Health at Columbia University, New York. Her occupational medicine professional journey started with Exxon, and she has since worked for a variety of multinational organizations in global OM leadership roles. Most recently she was the global medical director for Monsanto and later for Bayer. In June 2020, she took on the role of Chief Medical Officer and Director of Occupational Health for Dow, a leader in material science.

She is passionate about learning, thinking through complex issues, adapting to new environments and helping her team and employees to gain a broader perspective and to leverage their health in body and mind for the purpose of being at their best in all they do.

Dr. De Wilde has been a member and now fellow of ACOEM and participates in multiple OM networks to work through occupational health management challenges in multinational corporations.

She lives with her husband, Filip Everaert, in Midland, MI where they enjoy walking / hiking, reading, cooking healthy food and traveling. Preferred destinations involve visiting their two grown children, exploring all things beautiful and tasty, and catching-up with family in Belgium, NJ, and UK.

Marleece Estella
SVP of Health and Chief Medical Officer

Marleece Estella MD, MHCM is an Occupational and Internal Medicine physician, and human capital executive. She is currently SVP of Health and Chief Medical Officer at bp where she is responsible for the health of over 60,000 employees globally. Dr. Estella has earned a reputation as an industry leader in workplace health by creating policies, initiatives and conditions that enable employees and businesses to thrive. Her prior experience has been in both strategic and operational roles with responsibilities for global wellbeing, management of on-site health centers, occupational health and safety management, crisis management, and workplace accommodation. Her training and experience in Internal Medicine and public health is the basis for her understanding of the many factors that impact the health of employees and the communities where they live and work.

Prior to joining bp, she was Chief Medical Officer at Lockheed Martin, where she developed a robust program of integrated personal and worksite health which led to improvements in preventive care access for employees and decreased absenteeism. At Deere & Company, she served as Global Health and Safety Director. She was responsible for the integration and deployment of health and safety standards, and the development of global wellness initiatives that emphasized the importance of risk factor reduction in the prevention of chronic disease. She has also served as Regional Health Advisor for Shell Health, North America in Norco, Louisiana, and Houston Texas where she was instrumental in building an in-house disability management team. Dr. Estella began her career as a corporate physician with Lockheed Martin in New Orleans at the Michoud facility.

Dr. Estella holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry from Dillard University in New Orleans, Louisiana; a Doctor of Medicine from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry in Rochester, New York; and a Master of Science from Harvard University School of Public Health in Boston, Massachusetts. She is board certified in Internal Medicine, Lifestyle Medicine, and as a physician nutritionist. She serves on the Board of HERO, The Health Project and the Leapfrog Group. The proud mother of two is a fitness enthusiast and a musician who enjoys spending free time as a background vocalist and church psalmist.

Michael A. McKay
Corporate Communication Consultant, Speaker
McKay's International

Michael McKay is a communications consultant, well-known across Geneva’s, international community, and a recognized voice on World Radio Switzerland where he conducts insightful ‘The McKay interviews' with prominent guests on leading issues.

Over his extensive fifty-year career, Michael has built a notable corporate client list which includes HSBC, Trafigura, JT International, Intertrust Switzerland, UBS, Nomura, Bank Vontobel, EHL, ITU, Airports International Council Europe (ACI), Dow, International Trade Centre at UN Geneva, DuPont, and Nestlé to name a few. His roles as both a conference moderator and speaker have taken him as far afield as London, China, Turkey, Spain, British Virgin Islands and Indonesia.

In addition to being the former Chairman of the British-Swiss Chamber of Commerce Geneva, he has been a visiting lecturer and speaker at the Judge Business School, University of Cambridge, University of Geneva, University of Fribourg and NATO Advanced Research Workshops.

Michael was born in Jamaica, raised and educated in England and moved to Switzerland in 1984.

Graeme Moffat
Mental Health Ambassador

Having excelled as a people leader with HSBC, Graeme has focused his attention on encouraging his staff to start their own journey to become their best self. He is an HSBC Mental Health Ambassador and his willingness to share his story has helped many of his colleagues to become more comfortable in sharing their own.

Graeme's eye for detail and planning will amplify the voice of PurpleSpace and assist our members in getting the most out of this year's #PurpleLightUp Campaign.

Marco ten Bruggencate
Commercial Vice President Packaging & Specialty Plastics EMEA

Marco ten Bruggencate is the Commercial Vice President for Packaging and Specialty Plastics for EMEA, and is based in Horgen, Switzerland. He is also a vocal advocate for inclusion and diversity and is Co-Chair in Dow’s Women’s Inclusion Network.

Marco joined Dow in 2000 in the role of Commercial Manager, Spray Polyurethanes within PU Systems House. In 2007, he became Strategic Marketing Manager for Dow Building Solutions, before being appointed Product Director in 2011. As part of that role, he became the Chairman of the European Extruded Polystyrene Insulation Producers Association, EXIBA and represents Dow on the Board of Directors of the Joint Venture, Arabian Chemical Company Ltd, (Saudi Arabia).

In 2012, Marco assumed the role of Business Director EMEAI for Dow Building Solutions and in 2014 was appointed Global Business Director for Dow Construction Chemicals. In 2016, he became the Global Business Director of Dow Building & Construction and was then responsible for Global Strategy for the Polyurethanes Portfolio before assuming his current role.

Marco earned his Masters degree in Business Economics at the Vrije Universiteit, Amsterdam.
